Cheshire Academy’s third annual Golf Classic on Tuesday was a great success, drawing more than 50 golfers and raising more than $20,000.
The event was originally scheduled for July, but was postponed due to rain.
Congratulations to the Purdy Group, captained by Jeff Purdy P ’19, P ’21, P ’21, who shot a 60 to take first place. The Golf Classic is one of several major events put on by the Development and Alumni Relations Office throughout the year.
“It was a great day of golf and chance to bring together alumni, parents and friends who share a commitment to advancing the Academy by honoring its 225-year history and helping us move boldly into the future through their involvement and support,” Chief Advancement Officer Amy Brough said.
